One Saturday during lunch time, I was walking around Shin Sakaecho when I came across a restaurant where several people were waiting in line for the restaurant to open. Not having decided on a particular restaurant, I decided to follow them and enter the restaurant…
Famous Yokohama Hamburger Restaurant Expands to Nagoya! Grill Alabell has now opened two restaurants in Shinsakaecho and Marunouchi.
It appears that the restaurant was a branch of the popular Grill Arabell, which has its main restaurant in Yokohama. This restaurant is famous for its hamburgers made from 100% Japanese black beef, and now, with the opening of two new restaurants in Nagoya’s Shinsakae-cho and Marunouchi districts, people in Nagoya can now enjoy the taste of Arabelle in a casual setting.
I was lucky enough to pass by such a popular restaurant from Yokohama without knowing it, but even luckier is the fact that the Nagoya branch of Alabell offers a special lunch on Saturdays and holidays only, which is not even listed on the website.
Saturday and national holiday lunch only! Enjoy all that Grill Alabell has to offer with the “SAGA-BAR,” a combo menu of hamburger steak and hamburger steak!
The menu, called “SAGA-BAR,” is a combo menu of beef steak and Alabell’s signature Japanese black beef hamburger steak. The highest level is 200 g of sagari steak and 160 g of hamburger steak, priced at 2,340 yen (tax included). With this one piece, you can enjoy all that Alabell has to offer! It is such a substantial menu that you can enjoy all that Alabell has to offer with just one piece!
Now, some of you may be wondering, “What is sagari? I will explain a little more. Sagari” is a part of beef that corresponds to the diaphragm.
The harami is more famous, but the sagari is the thicker part of the diaphragm near the ribs, while the harami is the thinner part of the diaphragm on the back side. Like the halami, the sabari is considered to be a healthy portion with low fat content, making it relatively easy for women and dieters to order.
Now, the “Sagari Bar,” the highest lunchtime menu item offered at Alabell, is finally ready. A sizzling hot iron plate was brought in front of us, making a pleasant sizzling sound and emitting white smoke…
Two hamburger steaks are cut into slightly larger pieces of beef sinew, and then cut into sticks like tsukune skewers. When the hamburger is brought in front of you, it is in a rare state, but since it is served on a hot iron plate, you can adjust the degree of doneness to your liking. The hamburger steak, including the accompanying vegetables, is a very hearty dish that gives the impression that as much as possible has been packed into a single iron plate. It is served with rice (or bucket), salad, and onion soup, and you can have more rice.
Even when cooked, the chicken is very tender and elastic and chewy, which is enough to satisfy the feeling of “I ate meat! It is a very low-fat part of the meat, and unfortunately, it lacks the flavor of the meat itself. However, it is also a very low-fat part of the meat, and unfortunately lacks the flavor of the meat itself. Well, I guess this is a trade-off for the healthiness of the meat…
Next, a hamburger steak made from 100% Japanese black beef. It is so tender that even if you scoop it up with chopsticks, the meat seems to fall apart under the weight of the chopsticks. In contrast to the steak, this hamburger is full of juices, allowing you to fully enjoy the flavor of the Japanese black beef. You can choose from four different sauces: demi-glace, onion, tomato, and Japanese, but first try the rock salt provided at the table.
For those of you who want to eat quality meat with gusto in Nagoya… Grilli ALabell Nagoya Branch is a 5-minute walk from Shinsakae-machi Station on the Nagoya Municipal Subway Line.
Now, here are the details of the restaurant…
