Handmade Hamburger Steak Restaurant Tokura has two branches in Kyoto City. Both have the same menu as the Katsura main restaurant, so those who have difficulty visiting the main restaurant need not worry.
First of all, I would like to introduce the first of our branches, the Shinhorikawa Branch. It is located near the Meishin Kyoto Minami Interchange, under the elevated Daini-Keihan Road, in an area with heavy traffic. This branch is also far from downtown Kyoto, so it is a little inconvenient to get to from the center of the city, but it is easy to get to for those who come from far away by car.
So I ordered a carbonara hamburger steak with cheese, eggs, and cream (300 g / 1,150 yen) at the Shin-Horikawa branch…
Carbonara sauce may sound like a product that was conceived as an idea. But hamburgers and dairy products originally go well together, as exemplified by cheese hamburgers. If you like cheese hamburgers, there is no reason to deny this carbonara hamburger.
Carbonara sauce mixed with the gravy released in Tokura’s customary gravy breakdown show is quite an excellent sauce that combines the sweetness and mildness of dairy products with the savory flavor of hamburger steak. If you have a chance, please give it a try.
If you are coming from the southern part of Kyoto Prefecture or Nara Prefecture, please go here… To get to the Handmade Hamburger Steak Restaurant Tokura Shin-horikawa Branch, it is an 8-minute walk from the nearest station, Takeda Station on the Kintetsu Kyoto Line.
Here are the details of Tokura Shinhorikawa Restaurant…
If using public transportation, get off at Takeda Station on the Kintetsu or Kyoto Municipal Subway Line, an 8-minute walk away. As with the Katsura main store, take-out is also available.
