Unfortunately, however, Chitose Head Shop is only open during the daytime, so even if you want a meat sucker at dinner time, you will not be able to go to the restaurant. In such cases, you can enjoy Chitose’s nikusui at Chitose Bekkan (annex), which is located very close to the main restaurant…
The restaurant is located on the first floor of Namba Grand kagetsu, just a one-minute walk from the main restaurant. The restaurant is larger than the main restaurant, with three counter seats and seven tables for four people… The atmosphere is modern and clean, and there are several menu items that are not found at the main restaurant, so there is a good merit to dine at Bekkan instead of the main restaurant.
Examples of Chitose Annex’s menu (prices include tax)
- Meat Kasu Udon: 900 yen
- Meat Kasu Curry Udon: 1,000 yen
- Bokkake Udon: 750 yen
- Udon with ume plum sauce 700 yen
- Oyakodon 650 yen
- Tanin-don: bowl of rice topped with chicken and eggs, 650 yen
- Yuba donburi 650 yen
Well, on this day, I did not order such an original menu, but ordered a regular nikusui…
There is quite a bit of beef fat floating on the surface. There is sure to be a lot of beef lurking in the broth.
In fact, when you explore the inside…as you can imagine, it is filled with a lot of shredded beef. The Japanese broth makes it a refreshing meal, and the Yoshimoto comedian genius who ordered the meat sucker first!
I wish they would open a little later at night… Access to Chitose Annex is a 6-minute walk from the nearest station, Osaka Metro Namba Station.
As you are probably reading this, you will agree with me that this meat sucker is a great way to finish off a night of drinking. The location is perfect, and I really wish Chitose Annex would extend their business hours until around 11pm…. In return, the lunch hours could be shortened, or they could open in the evening…what do you think?
Now, here are the details of the restaurant. Restaurant data is here…
